Leonel is survived by his parents Patricia T. Carreon and Oswaldo Guerra his sisters Crystal Lee Camacho, Yasemia Nichole Guerra and his twin brother Giovanni Guerra.
Leonel was a very friendly and colorful person and was very outgoing. Leonel graduated from Weslaco East High School earlier this year, and played football for the Weslaco East Wildcats. He loved football, and he also loved to fish. Ever since Leo was a baby, he's always had a smile on his face. He had lots of friends, and was loved by many. Leonel will be missed dearly, and will forever live in our hearts.
A visitation for Leonel will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel - Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A funeral mass will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, followed by the burial at 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park.
