Leonel survived by his children; Marilu Villegas, Leonel Villegas Jr, Raul Villegas, Daniel Villegas, Leticia Villegas, Ezmeralda Villegas, his grandchildren; Antonio Esparza Jr, Sebastian Esparza, Marcus Esparza, Xzavier Villegas, Achillies, Uriah, Tyson &Trey Villegas, Deyyn Salinas.
He is preceded in death by his wife Juana Isabel Villegas, and his mom Guadalupe P. Villegas.
A visitation for Leonel will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A rosary will occur Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM. A chapel mass will occur Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur Friday, January 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
