Lorena Jeanette Morin

Left to cherish her memory are her children Samantha Hernandez and Marc Anthony Hernandez. She is also survived by her parents Eulogio and Francisca Morin, her siblings Jaime Alberto Morin (Cynthia), Rene Alejandro Morin (Sylvia), and Roberto Morin (Jodie), her Goddaughter Camila Morin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a proud graduate of South Palm Gardens, Class of 2004 and later earned her degree in Associate’s of Applied Science Paralegal from South Texas College in 2015. She started her journey of faith and service at Iglesia Cristiana Bethel where she was an active member for many years. She was baptized in water on April 22, 2007. Her service at Ig. Cristiana Bethel included 2 years as the proud sponsor of the Missionettes for Christ. She had most recently also served at Grace Life Church, in Weslaco, TX.

Lorena began working at Vidaurri, Rodriguez, & Reyna, L.L.P. on July 20, 2015. During her 10 years she grew her professional career to a paralegal. In addition to gaining work experience and knowledge, she also gained long, lasting friendships with those she worked with.

Lorena genuinely enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved. Cookouts with her family at the ranch were an event she would look forward to. Many evenings were spent eating, laughing and joking around with her parents, brothers, nephews and nieces. Lorena’s distinct laugh will be missed in future family gatherings. During her alone time, she enjoyed morning coffee from Starbucks and shopping for shoes and purses.

A visitation for Lorena will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A chapel service will occur Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM, followed by the interment at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78599.
