Lucio Turner Sr.

Lucio is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Maria G. Turner; son Lucio Turner Jr. (Ana); daughter Carolyn Valicek (Norman); son Edward Turner (Frollene); 5 grandchildren - Lucio Turner III (Nadia); Christopher Turner (Andrea); Trevor Turner; Madison Turner; Serena Turner and 5 great-grandchildren - Anthony, Sabrina, Taylor, Travis and Alaina Turner; brother Arturo Turner (Adelaida); brother Jesse Turner; sister Beatrice Mercado and sister Elvira Mercado.

Lucio was preceded in death by his mother Josefa G. Turner, daughter Aida Jean Turner; father Modesto Turner and sister Virginia Ortiz.

Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Turner, Sam Daily, Andres Salinas Jr., Armando Salinas, Jose "Alex" Valdez, Eddie Caballero, Eulogio "Roach" Medrano, Francisco Medrano and honorary pallbearers Trevor Turner and Anthony Turner

A visitation for Lucio will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78599. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78599.
