Marcial Gomez Moreno, age 88, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Marcial was born on September 27, 1934 to Gregorio Gomez and Maria Lorenza Moreno in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He will forever be remembered for being a kind hearted person who loved attending church, singing to the Lord and reading his bible.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Eusebia M. Gomez of Weslaco; daughters: Mireya (Juan G.) Ibarra of Weslaco and Blanca I. (Jorge) Luna of Mercedes. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Oscar (Mayra Campos) Rodriguez Jr of Weslaco, Joshua de Leon and Desiree de Leon of Mercedes. Survivors also include his great-grandchildren: Alizae Krystelle Rodriguez, Emilio Rodriguez, Andre Sky Rodriguez, Sean Everett Rodriguez and Armando Roman Rodriguez of Weslaco.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2 pm to 10 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Funeraria del Angel Highland of Weslaco.
