Maria Esquivel Garnica

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband Serafin Garnica Sr., her children, Juanita Graciela (Alberto) Avila, Elida Angelica (Marvin) Villatoro, Jose Alberto Garnica, Braulio Ignacio Garnica, Serafin Garnica Jr., Marco Antonio Garnica and her grandchildren, Jazmine Guadalupe Avila, Alberto Avila Jr., Arianna Lizette Avila, Carlos Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez, Makeisy Villatoro, Ricardo Villatoro, Jose Alberto Reyes, Jayden Allen Garnica, Joselyn Anahi Garnica, Emely Reyes, Macy Reyes, Desiree Garnica, Britcy Garnica, Braulio Garnica, Miguel Angel Garnica, Damian Garnica, Ernesto Garnica, Leslie Garnica, Layla Garnica, Matteo Garnica and Noel Garnica and her great grandchildren Josiah Valentin Avila and Aylin Hernandez.

She is also survived by her siblings German Esquivel Jr., Reynaldo Esquivel, Felicitaz Esquivel, Maria Del Carmen Mendoza and Oralia Martinez.

Maria is preceded in death by her siblings Martina Lozoya, Francisca Perez, Guadalupe Esquivel and Esmeralda Serrato.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM, till midnight at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, followed by the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78599.
