Maria De Jesus Rodriguez

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Ambrosio Rodriguez; whom she adored with all her heart; children: Angelica Rodriguez, Jhonny Rodriguez, Mike Rodriguez and Cynthia Rodriguez, whom she loved with all her heart. She was the absolute best mom. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Michael R. Pineda, Jacob A. Pineda, Lillian Rodriguez, Mila Rodriguez, Galianna K. Rodriguez, Devaney S. Castillo and Leilani E. Rodriguez.

She grew up in a large, loving family with six brothers and three sisters. She is now reunited with her father: Rosalio Munoz; brothers: Juan and Ruben Munoz, who have preceded her in death.

Maria was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on December 13, 2022; she remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final days. She is a true soldier of God! Her faith is what held her strong, she never lost faith. Maria requested to be entombed at Highland Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Iglesia Casa del Alfarero in Weslaco. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Iglesia Casa del Alfarero in Weslaco. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
