Maria was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by grace, warmth, and an unmistakable sense of joy. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cherishing every gathering and conversation. An avid reader, she took great pleasure in her Breakfast Club, where laughter, stories, and companionship were always on the menu. Maria also had a passion for travel and never missed an opportunity to enjoy a trip or a visit to her favorite casinos.

She carried herself with dignity and charm, yet had a playful side that brought smiles to those around her. Maria had a generous heart, a confident presence, and a way of making everyone feel special in her company.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Elisa Pacheco; her children Tomas Rangel III (Belinda), Irene Kasallis (Tom), Hector Rangel (Noelia), Ruben Rangel (Norma), and Yolanda Ramirez (Fred). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will forever treasure her love, wisdom, and unforgettable spirit.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, William Taggert; her parents, Pioquinto and Eugenia Pacheco; and her siblings Rafael Pacheco, Robert Pacheco, and Francisca Limas.
