Say this Chris ybarra who knew minni from along time ago on padre st. But whut really got to me about the whole situation I had spoken to her not to long ago as I had bumped into her during plasma talked to her on phone and we was gonna chill and catch up and like a week and half later after that my mom had picked me up from work and she just told me about somebody passing away and I'm like who?she told me that minni had passed that's y I couldn't go to the funeral and see her like that you know and I would like to share that one last moment I had seen her and had talked to her.which y'all and then that same day I heard news but in my sleep my phone turns on and playing a movie I was seeing and I turned but the screen was black and the voices of the movie going off? I believe it wasn't to haunt but to reach out cause that never happened be4 and I just tripped out about it you know 


I knew Minnie through her son David, she would be waiting for him at the bus stop that we got off together at to pick him up and she’d always compliment my makeup, I remember she gave me a makeup wipe once cause I wasn’t supposed to be wearing any and she asked why I wanted to take off such beautiful eyeshadow, it was this dark purple, and for that purple will always remind me of her. 💜 she was there for me during the roughest time of my childhood when my parents passed away, and I still have this card she gave me.. may you rest in Paradise beautiful, I now have another Angel. 🕊

Hey Minnie, it breaks my heart that you left so suddenly. Although I know you are around your loved ones now, giving them strength to get through this loss. You will always be very special to me. As most friends do, we grow up and grow apart. I will always remember you so beautiful inside and out. You always showed love compassion and such positive energy, it’s beautiful that you will always be remembered this way.  You are an angel now, bringing protection and love to those who need you most. Minnie's smile was her signature!!! I remember when i turned 15 i had a pool party and her and David went. She was all smiles, laughing, singing, dancing. She always was so cheerful, full of life and energy. She is a great soul and will be missed dearly. May she rest in paradise. My condolences to her family and son. God be with you all during this difficult time.

I was in her class in 9th grade I will never forget the first day of school when I walked in and sat in front of the class And she was walking around singing shine bright like a diamond and pointed at me that made me feel so good ❤️she always made it so joyful and made her class know she cared for us and out education she made it feel like home . She showed me that if she did it at the age of 13 even through the rough time she was going though she made it with that amazing smile that never went away we could do it too ✝️ She was also very happy and proud of her accomplishments as she should be because not all us make it but she did and at a young age 💓 I will also never forget those comfortable hugs I got from her they made me feel safe and loved 🥰 I never got to thank her for the impact she made in my life but … till we meet again in heaven where I’m sure she is I will make sure she knows how big of a impact she had and has on my life ✝️ My condolences to her family especially her son who she loved dearly 🙇🏻‍♀️  Thank her for showing me what life and joy was all about 💖

My condolences to the family and Baby David. Baby David, you were probably too small to remember me but your mom was an awesome person. I remember her always carrying around her gallon of water and exercising in place. She had so much energy and always smiling. That smile could light up a room. I'm so sorry for your loss. 

I had the pleasure to work with Minnie! She was an enthusiastic soul and her passion was teaching! She always talked about her son which I never had the pleasure to meet, but she was so proud of him! May you rest with the angels🙏🏻❤️

 I took care of her the summer '85 in Sparta, Michigan. From that moment on she became my beautiful baby girl. Even then she had the most radiant smile that definitely got her all the baby food and snacks she wanted. She grew up to be a super mom too. She was so proud of her baby David as she always called him. You couldn't run into her without hearing about him.  He will ALWAYS be the proof that  her greatest accomplishment was to be a MOM. Gonna miss her big entrances at our parties. Going to miss her hugs, her smiles, her loving spirit. Til we meet again mamita🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I remember subbing for Minnie,  and she would always share positive things about her students,  and would tell me who needed that extra caring nudge. She cared so much for her kids. I met her at a time when things were really rough for her,  but she never lost her beautiful smile even in the midst of tears as we prayed there in her classroom.  I am so sorry that you lost this beautiful person.  May God bring comfort,  peace and strength,  especially to her son. 🌹❤🙏

My sweet loving Minnie. My heart hurts. As I reminisce on our countless memories, I have laughed hysterically and cried. As I have been told, we were inseparable. I am so proud of your perseverance and determination; you will be greatly missed.




My first year teaching, Minnie was assigned as my mentor. I had never been in a classroom before and was so nervous. Minnie just made it look so fun and easy. Teaching was her joy. She loved her students. She would post their accomplishments all over her room. She was so excited about learning and being able to teach. Next to teaching, her biggest pride and accomplishment was her son. I never met him but he was the light of her life. She would talk about him and how proud she was all the time. It hurts my heart to know her smile and enthusiasm has forever left this earth.

You’re smile was contagious, the 5 years we’ve been neighbors I never once saw you upset. You were forever saying Hello, smiling, texting to see if I had sweets. Thank you for being so kind, for supporting my business from day one & being a wonderful neighbor. You will be missed. Rest In Peace amiga.
