San Juan - Modesta Munoz Peterson, 79, went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 23, 2022. Modesta was born on December 10, 1942 to Adan Munoz and Paula Martinez in Donna, Texas.

Modesta is survived by her son Robert James Peterson and her daughter Cassandra Peterson; grandson Gabriel Pastrana and great grandson Edan Jude Pastrana and her brothers Albert Munoz, Quinero Munoz, Abel Munoz and Juan Munoz.

Modesta is preceded in death by her parents Adan Munoz and Paula Martinez.

A visitation for Modesta will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 N. FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596. Visitation will continue Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM till the interment at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX 78596.
