Noe was born on August 21, 1966, in Weslaco, Texas, to Jesus Velasquez Sr. and Amelia Saenz Velasquez, who instilled in him the values of faith, hard work, and devotion to family that would guide him throughout his life.
From the young age of nine, Noe discovered a passion for playing the guitar. What began as a childhood love grew into a lifelong ministry, as he devoted his God-given talent to serving the Lord through music. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he faithfully used his gifts to worship, inspire, and lead others closer to God.
Noe honorably served his community as a police officer with the Weslaco Police Department, dedicating himself to protecting and serving those around him. He later continued his commitment to public service as a Border Patrol Agent, carrying out his duties with integrity, courage, and compassion.
Above all else, Noe was a loving and devoted father who cherished his family deeply. He treasured the time spent with his loved ones, valued the friendships he formed throughout his life, and held dear his brothers and sisters in Christ. His kindness, unwavering faith, and servant’s heart touched countless lives.
As he prepared to meet his Savior, Noe’s final words reflected the faith that sustained him throughout his life: “Yes, God… AMEN!” Those words serve as a beautiful testimony of his trust in the Lord and his readiness to enter eternal rest.
Left to cherish his precious memory is his beloved daughter, Natalie Velasquez; his siblings, Maria Elva Velasquez, Gilbert Velasquez, and Jesus (Irene) Velasquez Jr.; and his beloved niece and nephews, Selina Velasquez, Josh Velasquez, and Brian Velasquez.
Noe was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Amelia Velasquez, and his infant sister, Celina Velasquez, who now welcome him into eternal peace.
Though his family and friends mourn his passing, they rejoice in the assurance that Noe has been reunited with his loved ones and is now in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served throughout his life. His legacy of faith, service, music, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
