Raul is survived by his wife, Olga Gonzalez; his daughter Jessica Desiga (Eduardo Desiga); his siblings Rene Gonzalez (Josie), Ricardo Gonzalez (Ester) and Melida Moya (Gerardo); his grandchildren Eduardo Desiga Jr., Raul Jesus Desiga, April A. Benavidez and Rafael O. Benavidez Jr..

Raul was preceded in death by his parents Eusebia Guerra and Raul J Gonzalez; his siblings Lucille Marroquin; Rogelio Gonzalez and brother Rurico Gonzalez.

A visitation for Raul will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A rosary will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St Theresa Of infant, Edcouch, TX. A burial will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
