He was a hard worker and very dedicated father. He loved fishing, hunting at the ranch, enjoyed playing pool and poker with his cousins. He enjoyed traveling up north to visit family. As he got older he enjoyed reminiscing about old times. Always there to give a helping hand, loved by many, and well known as grandpa to all.
He is survived by his children; Rodolfo Roman Jr, Maria Sylvia Cantu, Maria Estela Velasquez, Jorge Luis Roman, Norma Linda Ceniceros, Jose Luis Roman, Maria Dolores Roman, Alejandro Roman, Jose Luis Roman Jr, his 28 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren.
Rodolfo is preceded in death by his spouse; Maria Irene Roman and grandson: Armando Roman.
A visitation for Rodolfo will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596. A rosary will occur Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at San Martin De Porres, Weslaco, TX. The burial will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
