Rolando Rodriguez, age 90 of Donna, Texas passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Rolando was born on March 5, 1935 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Pedro and Julia Rodriguez. Rolando was one of 10 siblings, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Julia Rodriguez, his son Humberto Rodriguez and his siblings Roy, Milo, Rene and Ofelia.
Rolando was married to Cecilia Rodriguez for 70 years, they were blessed with 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter. Pedro Rodriguez (Rosa), Orlando Rodriguez (Jackie), Connie Rodriguez (Rick), Rodrigo Rodriguez (Diana), and Santiago "Jimmy" Rodriguez (Judy). God blessed them with 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Rolando was a hard working man, a jack of all traits. He was a family oriented man. He loved fishing! He will be greatly missed by many, and will forever live in our hearts.
