

Rosie was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. A God-fearing Catholic woman, she lived her life guided by prayer and compassion. Her home was always open to anyone in need, and she welcomed all with warmth, kindness, and a generous heart. To know Rosie was to know unconditional love.
She found her greatest joy in her family. Rosie cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Whether tending to her beloved garden, enjoying trips to the casino, traveling to new places, or simply gathering around the table with loved ones, she created memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her loving husband, Domingo G. Martinez; her children, Rosielen Martinez, Corine Martinez (Pete), and Domingo Martinez Jr. (Diane); her cherished grandchildren, Devin Hobbs, Destiny Martinez, Jaydien Martinez, Mathew Martinez, Ty Martinez, Ethan Hernandez, Anthony Selvera, and Angelica Salazar; and her precious great-grandchild, Ramsey Hernandez.
She is also survived by her siblings, Francisco Garcia Jr., Jose Luis Garcia (Delia), Noe Garcia (Sally), Lydia Castillo, and Maria Iniguez (Remundo); her brothers-in-law, Milford, Sergio, and Raul; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Juanita Garcia; and her siblings, Guadalupe (Lupe) Garcia, Martin Iniguez, Oralia Cox, and Magdalena (Maggie).
A visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Highland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 6705 North FM 88, Weslaco, Texas, 78596, on February 23, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a Rosary at 7pm.
The funeral mass is scheduled for February 24, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 600 S Oklahoma Ave, Weslaco, TX, 78596.
Rosie’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, selfless love, and boundless generosity. Her laughter, gentle spirit, and caring nature touched countless lives. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
