Santiago Gutierrez Bruno Jr.

Santiago held many titles in his life, from landscaper to cabinet maker but, his favorite role was being a father and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was always there for them, whether it was getting his oldest grandson ready for school or grilling for his adult children. Moreover, Santiago loved the outdoors and participating in sports like fishing. Lastly, he had a huge sweet tooth, not a day went by without him having a candy bar or other pastry.

Santiago will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Melissa J. Bruno and their children: Santiago Bruno III, Ashley Nicole Bruno and Salem Bruno. He will also be greatly missed by his mother, Lydia G. Bruno; grandchildren, David James Gil, Tristan Gil, Diana Gil; mother-in-law, Viola Anciso; son-in-law, David Gil Jr. and siblings: Linda L. Gonzalez, Ricardo Bruno, Ismael Bruno, Priscilla A. Bruno, Leeroy Bruno and Lisa Marie Bruno.

He is now reunited with his father, Santiago Bruno Sr and maternal grandparents: Jesus C. & Margarita T. Gonzalez who have preceded him in death.

Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, 6705 North Fm 88, Weslaco, Texas 78596.
