Sergio Cardenas Gonzalez

Sergio was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished brother, whose greatest joy in life was his family. For 39 wonderful years, he shared a beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Maria Magdalena Gonzalez. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Maria Magdalena Gonzalez; his children, Angelica (Fernando) Casas, Sergio Alexander (Brenda Lee) Gonzalez, and Luz Maria Gonzalez (Oscar Hernandez). He was a proud grandfather to Andrea, Valerie, Destiny, Danica, Cristina, Emiliano, Emmanuel, and Emma, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life.

He is also survived by his siblings, Minerva, Claudia, Maricela, Sandra, Francisco, Miguel, Hector, and Juan Gonzalez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed to know him.

Sergio was welcomed into Heaven by his beloved parents, Alicia and Francisco Gonzalez, and his siblings, Luz Maria, Dora Alicia, Manuel, Jesus, and Eduardo Gonzalez.

Sergio had a deep appreciation for creativity and craftsmanship. He loved reading and could often be found working on woodworking projects, turning simple pieces of wood into something meaningful with his hands and imagination. He had a special place in his heart for cats and found comfort in their companionship. Above all else, he treasured the time he spent with his family. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply being present, Sergio had a way of making everyone feel loved and important.

To those who knew him best, Sergio was more than a husband, father, or grandfather—he was the center of his family, the heart and soul that held everyone together. His kindness, quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
