Valente "Woofy" Garcia

Valente Garcia, age 61, of Edcouch, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Valente was born May 22, 1961 to Luis and Manuela Cantu Garcia. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Luis (Crystal Alaniz) Garcia, Valerie (Carlos) Perez and Valente (Ruby Leal) Garcia Jr.; 11 grandchildren and his brothers Juan Luis Garcia and Guillermo Garcia. Valente is now reunited with his parents Luis and Manuela Cantu Garcia; his brother Timoteo Garcia and sister Adelina Cavazos who have preceded him in death. A visitation for Valente will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe C.C. located at, 200 N. Laurel Ave, La Villa, TX, followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
