Left to cherish his memory are his children, Luis (Crystal Alaniz) Garcia, Valerie (Carlos) Perez and Valente (Ruby Leal) Garcia Jr.; 11 grandchildren and his brothers Juan Luis Garcia and Guillermo Garcia.
Valente is now reunited with his parents Luis and Manuela Cantu Garcia; his brother Timoteo Garcia and sister Adelina Cavazos who have preceded him in death.
A visitation for Valente will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Highland, Weslaco, TX 78596. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe C.C. located at, 200 N. Laurel Ave, La Villa, TX, followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park, Weslaco, TX.
