Ventura Rangel III, age 52, of Weslaco, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born to Ventura & Florestela Rangel Jr. on October 3, 1971 in Norwalk, Ohio. Ventura was a Trumper, an Eagle's fan; he enjoyed food, karaoke and video games. He was a wonderful son and brother, who loved his parents, especially his mother, and enjoyed teasing his sisters, most of all. Ventura was of man of God, strong in his faith, he enjoyed listening to Christian music. He was an artist and an insurance agent. Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents: Ventura and Florestela Rangel Jr; siblings: Cynthia (Abelardo Jr) R Lopez, Myrtha (Armando Sr) L Aguirre; nieces and nephews: Ashlee Ocanas, Abelardo Lopez III, Adriel (Mercedez) V Lopez, Armando Aguirre Jr, Amanda D Aguirre, Alexa D Aguirre; grandnephews: Anastacia Ocanas, Ramonsito Ocanas IV and baby Archer Ventura Lopez. Family will receive friends Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 4 pm to 10 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm, Monday, July 1, 2024 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco followed by the interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
