David is survived by sister Laura Morales, sister Caroline Chavarria, sister Christina Gaytan, sister Ophelia Gaytan, sister Stella Garcia, sister Grace Ann Barilla, brother Richard Gaytan, brother Andrew Gaytan and brother Gilbert Gaytan.

Serving as pallbearers are Richard Gaytan, Andrew Gaytan , Gilbert Gaytan , William Gaytan , Tony Morales and Vince Hernandez.
