Emma Bolivar Castillo, 96, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born on November 29, 1929, Emma lived a long life marked by steadfast faith, quiet courage, and a gentle, compassionate spirit that touched those around her. A resident of La Puente, California, Emma will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her life, Emma was cherished for her kind-hearted nature and thoughtful presence. She carried herself with grace and humility, offering generosity in ways both seen and unseen. Hard-working and devoted, she gave of herself with constancy—meeting life’s days with perseverance, and caring for others with a tenderness that made people feel safe, valued, and loved.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Emalyn; her sons, Franco and Fernan; her son-in-law, Don; and her grandchildren, James, Katherine, Joshua, Bjorn, and John.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel West Covina, 2333 W Merced Ave, West Covina, CA 91790, on June 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
