Floyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for and caring for the people he loved.
He shared 57 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sylvia Rose Stalinski, and they were just three weeks away from celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary. Nearly six decades together was a lifetime filled with love, family, hard work, challenges, joys, and countless memories. Through every season of life, Floyd and Sylvia built a life centered on their family, and the love they shared will remain a lasting part of their family’s story.
Floyd was the proud father of Jason, Todd, Floyd III, and Tristan, and a loving grandfather to Andrew, Jessica, Floyd IV, Connor, Emma, Andrew, and Tristan II. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Michael and Serena.
Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Andrew, son of Tristan. He is also survived by his sister, Chris, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will remember him with love.
Floyd spent his working years as a truck driver. He was a hardworking man who understood the value of dedication, responsibility, and putting in a long day to provide for his family. His strong work ethic was one of the many lessons he passed down to his children and grandchildren.
Although Floyd worked hard, he also knew how to enjoy life and make lasting memories. Some of his happiest times were spent camping, driving dune buggies, listening to country music and oldies, and simply being surrounded by his family. These were the moments that brought him joy and became cherished memories for those who shared them with him.
Floyd was more than a father; he was a teacher and an example to the people around him. He showed his children what it meant to work hard, love their family, remain strong when life became difficult, and always be there for the people who depended on them.
His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express. Yet Floyd’s presence will continue to live on in the people he loved and the lives he touched. He will be remembered through the lessons he taught, the stories his family will continue to share, the music that brings back memories, the family traditions that carry on, and the many qualities of Floyd that live on in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Floyd Joe Stalinski lived 77 years, but his legacy will live far beyond them.
And most importantly, he was deeply loved.
Rest peacefully, Floyd. Your life was a beautiful gift to everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving you. Your kindness, your love, and the memories you gave your family and friends will remain in their hearts forever and continue to guide them for generations to come.
