Grandma, I love you so very much. I miss you & I carry you in my heart wherever I go.
I'm still so grateful for the love we always shared.  I wish you could know how much I am still growing as a person. I wish I could tell you the things that I've experienced. I wonder where you are in your journey, but I always imagine you happy & fulfilled. 
I still have a special gift you gave me when I was a child. I still treasure it & think of what it has meant to me all these years. I love you, miss you & dream of you.

Mom, next Friday, the 18th, will be one year since we lost you. I miss you more than ever and think about you every day.

Mom, I think about you every day & wish you were with me. On your Birthday Monday and all of the week before, I was depressed & couldn't go a day without starting to cry. But I realized that I was crying for my loss, not yours.  I hope with all my heart that you've found the peace & happiness you deserved so much in this world. I will always keep the love you gave us in my heart & try to live by the examples you taught us.

Yes that's so true Barbara.  Our parents wish they could give us everything in the world.  They gave us the most important things after all love, compassion,respect for others and ourselves, kindness and the closeness of a loving family.  God Bless!

My mother taught us by being a living example how to treat people with kindness and respect; the value of a good education and a strong work ethic.  Many times she told me over the years she wished she could have given us more, meaning the material things of life.  I told her she gave us the important things that prepared us for our lives ahead.  She made us strong enough to face life's hurdles.  How lucky I've been to have her near me so long.  Barbara, eldest daughter

Mom, last Friday 1/25/13, we lost Aunt Pauline.  The last thing she said to me was that she was looking forward to being with you and all of her family again. She was the last of your sisters with us and we will miss her greatly , as I miss you. I'll always remember her with love and hold many fond memories in my heart

 The service and funeral were beautiful.
I know Mom would've loved the yellow roses. They were a fitting tribute to a wonderful mother.

Thank you Grandma, for all of the love & memories. I will never forget you & I will always admire you.

You always made my day whenever I had a chance to talk to you. Barbara was very lucky to have you as a Mom. Rest in peace!

God Bless you Juanita.  You were a blessing to your family and they were a blessing for you.  We know you are at peace and in God's hands.

To the strongest, most incredidble woman I have ever known. A Lady I called 'Grandma'. I light this candle for you today, remembering each and every moment we shared; the times you cradled my face in your hands,expressing how precious I was to you and how much you loved me. I will never forget your soft voice. 

I hold dear, beautiful strokes from a pen held by your hand, writing me letters and birthday cards, I've received through years gone by and across the many miles that were between us-but could never separate us.

I see your tenderness,your incredible strength, and unwavering love, in my mother. For this,I an so greatful.
