Leticia, I had the pleasure of knowing you for almost 7 years. Within those 7 years, you have been nothing but loving towards me. I remember just getting my license and me and andrew taking you to physical therapy. You said you were happy for me and my little beat up car I had at the time, lol. Every Costco trip with you always ended with pizza and a chicken bake. Doing your manicure was my favorite because you told me many stories about your past and your childhood. I will cherish these memories and share them with my children. Although it hurts that you aren’t here anymore, I find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain. I love you so much Leticia. I can only hope Andrew and I will make you the proudest grandma. ❤️ until we meet again.

Lety played a HUGE part during my time as a counselor at Baldwin Park High School.  Because she worked and pretty much ran the registrar's office, she was one of the first people new students came in contact with.  She was always welcoming to them, and this was so important in making their start at BPHS a positive experience.  I think, too, that she had something to do with getting her sister, Maria, to come to work there as a counseling secretary, another reason why I was able to seamlessly perform my duties there.
I think it's interesting that certain earthly things remind me of people I love and miss.  Frogs!  Yup, whenever I see anything that's frog related, I will ALWAYS think of Lety.  Sadly, I never asked Lety why she loved anything that was 'froggy'.  Also, I have a set of Princess House bowls along with a large spaghetti bowl that I bought from her.  I love that set.  (Over the years I've only broken two of the bowls!)  Almost EVERY day, I eat something from one of those bowls.  So, God uses that means as another way for me to always remember my co-worker and friend, Lety Torres.  Rest in peace. Lety.

The one that always seen the best in me even when everyone else didn’t. She defended and loved me like no one else did. The memories I have with her will be some of my favorite forever. I wished and hoped this day would never come. I’ll miss you forever.

MY ONLY TIA THAT VISITED ME IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE.  MY ONLY TIA THAT TRULY LOVED ME AS YOUR OWN BLOOD.  THANK YOU FOR EXISTING IN MY LIFE. The best Nina any one could have asked for. Growing up and having you in my life will always be special to me. I miss you and all the memories I have of us, they will always hold a special place in my heart. Every car ride we had, sleeping with you in the same bed till I was 19, going out to eat, taking you to your dr appointments and vacations we've had together. I miss you Nina, love you forever.

As we say goodbye to a beautiful soul who has gone to heaven. Her laughter and love touched the lives of so many, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She brought joy, and her light shone brightly for all to see. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be cherished.
As she journeys to a place of peace and serenity, may she find comfort in the arms of angels and rest in eternal happiness with my dad, and our loved ones who have passed. Though they may be physically gone, their spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.
Rest in Paradise Mama, your impact on me and our entire family will never be forgotten, and your legacy will live on in the love you shared with all of us. Heaven has gained a truly beautiful soul.
