Margarita Sorto Diaz, age 89, of Baldwin Park, California passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Margarita is survived by her hijo Daniel Noe Mata; her hijo Jamie Mata; her hija Alba Nelly Mata; her hija Margot Aracely Mata; her hijo Oscar Aristides Mata; and her hija Patricia Castillo.

Margarita was preceded in death by her hijo Ernesto Mata.

A velorio for Margarita will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel West Covina, 2333 West Merced Ave, West Covina, CA 91790. A misa fúnebre will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3883 Baldwin Park Blvd, Baldwin Park, CA 91706. A sepelio will occur Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 S Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91740.
