Dear Mark and family, I always have the good thoughts and memories of knowing you and your wife when John Fraraccio and I were becoming the couple we became.  We even went to the same Justice of the peace at the same courthouse and of course we had you all in our thoughts and hearts as we always do you know.  God Bless you Mark and I'm sure you made a great impact on your students.  God be with ...Peace.

Mark was a close friend of my late husband and someone whom I knew from his college days when he and his wife got married.  He used to make me feel a certain way because of his abilities, and I being sensitive to everything the way I am, haven't ever forgotten how he made me feel.  I'm sad for his wife and daughters, and his brother, the rest of his family and his other friends.  Along with grief, many fine things will come to memory, it will mean healing and love in a way you never knew could be so healing of Love.  I know with My husband and I, death never stopped our love from continuing to grow, somehow our spirits are closer then before even.  Our good memories we share of Mark, will come through for us all and keep this great fun person with us.  I pray for you all to keep strong, don't let it get you down too much.  Mark was a happy go lucky guy, and He'd want all the smiles, and laughter to be what keeps us up through this.  It' comes and goes, at the most unsuspected things, this way grief.  Over time, it lightens as we realize how close and not far away from us, our departed loved ones are.  Right with us sometimes.  God Bless Mark. Avelina, his daughters, and all of his family and other friends. My prayers are for you there.  It's an honor to respect him and his life.  His ties to this Earth.  All of you,  I pray for God to bless him, and those of you whom he loves.  Peace be with each of you, Grace of God's and with good courage. He was a funny person...

Mark Blocker was a long-time family friend. I loved Mark's soul, sense of humor, writing, and his compassion. Along with my brother Mike Powell, Dale and Anne Marie McCabe, Tom and Nancy Elsaesser,the Shelton family, Mike Lawler, and many others, we had great times at the Blocker's house and elsewhere.  My condolences to his children, the entire Blocker family, and all his friends. A  bright light is gone, but his gifts to us are seared into our consciousness.
