Michelle Amanda Jarrett - Limón

Born on June 24, 1976, at Queen of the Valley in West Covina, Michelle grew up in El Monte and West Covina. She graduated from West Covina High School, attended Citrus College, and later earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne.

Those who knew Michelle knew a woman who was thoughtful, genuine, tenderhearted, and remarkably generous. Her family remembers her extraordinary care for others, describing her as “a beacon of light.” She gave freely—not only gifts, but also her time, attention, and presence. A deeply attentive listener, Michelle made people feel heard and understood and became a trusted source of comfort to many.

Michelle loved beauty in everyday life and had a gift for turning simple moments into meaningful ones, especially when gathering with family and friends during the holidays. She expressed herself through writing and poetry and brought warmth to the time she shared with those she loved.

Michelle came to know the Lord as a child and sought to follow the example of Jesus. Those closest to her saw her faith expressed through the way she loved, gave, cared, and showed up for others.

Even as life’s losses and difficulties tested her deeply, her life continued to bear witness to the tenderness and compassion of Christ.

Michelle is remembered by her loving husband, Jesús; her father, Steve Jarrett; her sister, Andrea Jarrett-El Hamd; her brother-in-law, Mounaim El Hamd; her cousin, Lenore Camacho Garcia; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.

Her family now entrusts her to the loving care of the God who created her, holding to the Christian hope that death does not have the final word and that, in Christ, love and life endure beyond the grave.
