We are beyond devastated to know Orlando is no longer with us.  His passing has left a hole in our hearts that we will never be able to mend.  He was an amazing, kind, generous and loving person.  We have so many wonderful memories of Orly that we will cherish forever.  Especially all the ones we made on our camping trips. These trips were always fun and memorable because he was the kind of person who would bring so much happiness and joy wherever he went.

We will miss him so much. We will miss his constant wardrobe changes and how he'd go through three different outfits before dinner.  We will miss his stories by the campfire and how after each one he'd say, "and the next story is..."  We will miss his generosity and kindness which he showed constantly.  Like the one camping trip he drove an hour to buy a cake for Justin and Jaylene's 8th birthday.  We will miss staying up late looking for shooting stars and the early mornings bundled up with warm cups of coffee and hot chocolate.  We will especially miss the mornings we'd wake up and ask each other "where's Orly?" and then after looking around, "Where's Luis?" and how the answer was obvious because they were like brothers who were inseparable. We always knew they were on their own adventure.

These trips will never be the same, we have lost someone so special to us and our world has become dimmer.  His absence will be felt forever, but we will honor his memory and everything he brought to our lives by never forgetting. We will never forget the loving person he was and how much he changed our lives by just being himself and sharing the joy he held with everyone.

We will miss you Orly, thank you for the wonderful memories, the laughs and the light you brought into our lives with your presence.  You will never be forgotten and every time we go camping we will remember you, from the lakes, to the mountains, to the setting sun and every shooting star, you will always be in our hearts.

We love you Orly.

Gone to young, forever in my heart, lot's of memories, going to school with him from kindergarten thru 12th grade, hanging out when we dated for a short but nice time, Orlando was always a sweet, outgoing giving person & always loved going to family parties I recently saw him in Pasadena at a Janis Joplin (impersonater) concert and when I saw him again he had made me a copy of a CD of that night, I will cherish it foreveR, saddened by the news of him being ill, I got to text him in the hospital & he was so surprised to hear from me writing back, Martha? Happy that he answered me & I made him laugh, I told him fight fight as hard as you can & he answered me with I'm trying rrrrrrrr I could almost hear him, his frustration, he lost the battle, but I know you are in a better place no more suffering, Rest In Peace, there will always be a special place in my heart for you 💔 my condolences to the Gonzalez family 🙏 Martita
