Petra Herrera Luna, a cherished and devoted individual, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on June 29, 1941, Petra was a beloved resident of Riverside, California. She was known for her kind-hearted nature and unwavering faithfulness to her family and community.
Petra is lovingly remembered by her children: Dolores, Victor, Carmen, Christina, Maricela, Juanita, and Juan. She was preceded in death by her daughter Irma and her husband, Juan. Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Petra is also survived by her sisters, Amalia, Julia, and Enriqueta.
A Rosario / Rosary (View / Velorio) will be held at St John The Baptist Catholic Church, located at 3883 Baldwin Park Blvd, Baldwin Park, CA 91706, on March 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. Following this, a Funeral Mass / Misa de Cuerpo Presente will take place at the same location at 11:00 am. The Graveside / Sepelio service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 N Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770, at 12:30 pm.
Petra's beloved presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Petra Herrera Luna, una persona querida y devota, falleció el 18 de febrero de 2026, a la edad de 84 años. Nacida el 29 de junio de 1941, Petra era una querida residente de Riverside, California. Era conocida por su naturaleza bondadosa y su inquebrantable fidelidad a su familia y comunidad.
Petra es recordada con amor por sus hijos: Dolores, Víctor, Carmen, Christina, Maricela, Juanita y Juan. Fue precedida en la muerte por su hija Irma y su esposo, Juan. El servicio de Sepelio se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Resurrection, 966 N Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770, a las 12:30 pm.
