

She married Diosdado Francisco and brought seven children into the marriage, namely: Ely, Mimie, Novelyn, Lodino, Delyn, Ronel and Rey.
Nanay Salome had a gregarious and charming personality. She always had a ready smile to everyone, which earned her many friends, young and old alike. She was quite an entertainer. She was the "life of the party" in her hometown. She can make people laugh so hard by her actions and words. Every time there's a group gathering, people were looking for her to amuse them. She was very caring. She considered many orphaned and runaway kids who sought shelter and parenting "her own children." Nanay was a political figure in her own way. With her husband, Tatay Dadong, they were strong leaders in their community and held elected positions for many years until they came to United States in 1988. They lived with their daughter Novie, her husband Noel and their children. The household also included her daughter Mimie, son Ronel, and his children Roneth, Diosal, and John Ronil. Her son, Toto and daughter-in-law, Ofie, and grandchildren Jozel and Jerome also lived closed by and frequently visited her.
Nanay Salome had a very active social life. She was a frequent fixture at two senior centers, Casa Del Sol Adult Daycare and Walnut Senior Center, where she was often seen dancing, singing, playing bingo, and participating in the various events there. The best days of the week for her were Saturdays and Sundays because on the Nazareth group Bible studies and church. There are fond memories of Nanay Salome at home enjoying her puzzles, playing solitaire, reading the Bible, watching movies with her grandchildren and enjoying her favorite past times...basketball, wrestling, baseball, and boxing.
She is survived by her children: Ely, Mimie, Novelyn, Lodino and Rey; grandchildren: Janelyn, Jeffrey, Marydel, Maritess, Sherwin, Noilyn, Glen, Edgardo Jr., Sherlan, Marylou, Roneth, Din, Jay, Mira, Rey Jr., Raymond, Diosal, Jozel, Mary Rose, John Ronil, Jerome, and Jenny; great grandchildren: Johann, Jia, Zamantha Shane, Prezy, and Elaica Rain; children-in-law: Janet, Noel, Ofelia, Edgar, Anita and Daisy; grandchildren-in-law: Judelyn Francisco, Melvin Cristobal, Tony Mendoza, and Ian Jonathan Gonzales.
She joins her deceased parents, Eulogio and Clara; husband Diosdado and her children, Delyn and Ronel. Nanay/Lola Salome has been an indelible part of all of our lives. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
