Barbara Jean McConnell, 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Woodlands Creek in Clive. Per Barbara’s wishes, her body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Barbara was born September 6, 1923 in Des Moines, IA to Howard and Fern (Johnson) Butler. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her home.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 73 years, Rodney McConnell of Clive; daughter, Kristin (Scott) Gould of Cape Elizabeth, ME; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and two daughters, Barbara (Kay) and Karen.
