Craig Schlichte, 26, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at his home in Madison. A Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines.
Craig was born in Des Moines, Iowa and was a lifelong resident until moving to Madison, WI in October of 2012. He worked as an assistant manager at Northern Tool in Madison. Craig loved to work on cars for his friends and family and was always willing to help a friend in need.
Surviving are his mother, Beth Wilcox; brother, Matthew Schlichte; and daughter, Autumn Divis, all of West Des Moines; maternal grandmother, Freda Wilcox of Independence, MO; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Ardella Schlichte of Edgewood, IA; and his long-time father figure, Dodd Cook. He was preceded in death by his birth father, Donald Schlichte.
