Dear Jane:
Betty and I were so saddened by the recent passing of Curtis. This was a complete shock to both of us as we missed the obituary in the Register and didn't even realize Curtis was ill. We remember so well your wedding with our two children, especially Garret and his antics. You and Curtis were so cute and loveable at that wedding. I so fondly remember you and your wonderful teaching at Charles L. Watrous. My, you were a excellent teacher and leader in our building. So caring and loving with children, other staff members, and the entire Watrous community. My first notice of Curtis' passing came when I ran into your childhood classmate, Steve Cox, at the tennis club yesterday. Steve told me about Curtis. It sure brought back a lot of wonderful memories of the three of us at Watrous. Those were wonderful days. We know the days ahead will be difficult for you but also know that the love of Christ will be with you now and forever and you may rest assured that Curtis in no longer suffering. Last night at Family Nite, Betty's brother, the Rev Richard Hutton, mentioned to me that he officiated at Curtis' funeral and had a wonderful talk with both you and Steve. What a coincidence. God works in many ways. Please give us a call if we can be of any help whatsoever at 240-7362. God will be with you and with us all until the end of our days.
Bless you Jane.
