Daniel Markle, 67, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Taylor House Hospice. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Daniel was born on September 24, 1944 in Des Moines, IA. He worked for Iowa Health System for the past 21 years.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Pamela Markle; two daughters, Jamie (Russell) Wessel-Markle of Des Moines and Laura Markle of Pleasant Hill; one son, Ryan (Bobbi-Jo) Markle of Ft. Carson, CO; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer “Bill” and Blanche Markle/Vera Stover, and his grandson, Davier “Monkey” Jones.
Memorial contributions may be given to Make A Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
