Last night  Carol passed   away.  She and  Don were a loving and kind couple. It was hard to imagine one  without the other....and now they are together. My  deepest  sympathy  to  Laurie.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Carol and Laurie on the loss of Don.

Don symbolized the human side of engineering and science at Mines. He will be mourned by generations of U.S. and foreign students spread around the world and throughout industry.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Dickinson family.  I remember Don with camera in hand ready for that special picture.  He will be missed.
