Donald Leroy Hill passed away on March 18, 2025. Donald was born on January 26, 1941, to David Floyd Hill and Mary Maragaret Hill (Hardee) in Los Angeles, California. A Funeral Service for Don will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at McLaren’s Funeral Home with a luncheon following his service.
Don graduated from Fontana Highschool in California in 1958. After high school, he married his wife of 67 years, Joyce Walker and from this union they had three children, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; his daughter Belinda (Mike) Pagel and grandchildren, Nick Smith and Melissa Smith; his son Donald (Mary) Hill Jr. and grandchildren, Donald Hill III, Chelsia Donahue, Lexie French, Amanda Bengston, and Jennifer Knox; and his son, Timothy (Brenda) Hill and grandchildren, Nate Hill, Maranda Blake, and Meghan Hill. Don worked at Monarch Cement Company before working and retiring from Whirlpool. During his retirement, Don wanted to continue working so he got a job at Adventureland. In his free time, he loved golfing and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching any professional or college sport. But most of all, he loved his family.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, David Floyd Hill and Mary Maragaret Hill (Hardee); his sister Shirley Hill; and his brothers, David Hill and Jack Hill.
He will be missed by his wife, Joyce Hill; his brothers, Norman Hill and Ernest Hill; his children, Belinda (Mike) Hill, Donald (Mary) Hill Jr., and Timothy (Brenda) Hill; his grandchildren, Nick Smith, Melissa Smith, Donald Hill III, Chelsie Donahue, Nate Hill, Maranda Blake, and Meghan Hill.
