Douglas Dean Mains, 64, died at his home on January 3, 2022.
Doug was born on November 12, 1957, in Des Moines to Dean and Margaret (Ott) Mains. Doug was a roofer for many years. He enjoyed playing baseball, going fishing, and cheering faithfully for the Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball teams.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents. His cousins survive him.
No services are planned, and a private burial was held at Resthaven Cemetery.
