Francine Royce Kraus

Francine Royce Kraus, precious daughter of Emily and Talbot Kraus of Crystal, MN, was born into the arms of angels on October 1, 2025, at Maple Grove Hospital. Though she never took a breath she filled our hearts completely and was in the loving embrace of her parents and those who loved her.

Frannie knew only comfort, warmth, and the unwavering love of her family. The memory of her tiny hands, perfect toes and button nose will be forever etched into the hearts of those who anticipated her arrival.

Frannie is survived by her loving parents, Emily and Talbot; big sister, Vivienne Kraus; grandparents, Mark and Laura Kacer, Amy and Brian Crisp and Steve and Mandi Kraus; aunt and uncle, Allison and William Lounsbury; aunts, Ayla Stoner and McKenna Larson; uncles, Lincoln Kraus and Jared Callies; cousins, Wyatt Lounsbury and Kelly and Willie Vang; great-grandparents, Rex and Jody Hild, Larry and Linda Kacer, Ken and Betty Langenberger and Tom and JoAnn Kraus.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors and bereavement team at Maple Grove Hospital for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5 to 8 pm at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope, MN 55428. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11 am at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266.

She was carried in love, born in love, and will always be remembered in love. Her tiny footprint left an enormous mark on our hearts.
