Heidi was a very loving, companionate, caring women, and honest to the T! Every day was spent doing anything she could to help. She gave as much love she could to every person she could – she was a firm believer in unconditional, irrevocable love.
Heidi loved to spend her time outdoors fishing, hiking, and skiing on family vacations to Colorado and to Sun Valley Lake in Iowa. She was always happy spending time with family and friends. She was always quick to smile and share her opinion.
Heidi died from smoking cigarettes and would have been mad if we didn’t make an effort to tell everyone to quit smoking before it is too late for them.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, October 8 at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 3-6 pm on Sunday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials will go towards an education fund.
