Helen M. Roush

Helen was born December 24, 1932 in Marshalltown, IA to Glen and Blanche Beeman. She graduated from Indianola High School and was in the class of 1952. Helen married Phillip Roush on May 30, 1953 and was a homemaker until 1965. She worked at Corwin Cleaners through the 1970’s and Camelot Cleaners until 1995, before opening her own tailoring business, retiring in 2005. Helen enjoyed reading, sewing, Sweet Adeline’s and Barbershop music, jigsaw puzzles, her pets, and most importantly being with her family.

Helen is survived by five daughters, Rhonda Paul, Terri (Bill) Mowery, Mandi (Mark) Gregory, Brenda (Rick) Erickson, and Elizabeth Roush; five grandchildren, Julianne Gregory, Michael Mowery, Paul (Rileigh) Gregory, Eric (Amber) Erickson, and Kari (Bill) Dent; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Jean Beeman. She is preceded by her husband; parents; brother, Roger Beeman; son-in-law, Jerry Paul; and in-laws, Loraine and Joe Roush.
