Though his life was short, he lived with an intensity that filled every room. Hunter was an avid reader of many books and loved to write music. He taught us to cherish the moments and live life to the fullest. He loved to help people in need. Hunter played Football for years at Stillwell Jr. High and Valley High School. He also volunteered in the Silver Cord Program. Hunter graduated from Valley High School in 2020' along with taking classes at Des Moines Area Community College while still in High School. Hunter worked several jobs throughout his life.
He will be deeply missed by all his Family and Friends. He is survived by his Mother June Elizebeth; his Father, Thomas C. Munoz; and his siblings, Abby, Bianca, Michael, and Austin.
A visitation will take place at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel & Mortuary, located at 801 19th Street, West Des Moines, IA 50265, on March 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A prayer service will be held at the same venue on March 4, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The funeral service is scheduled for March 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1627 Grand Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Following the funeral service, a committal service will occur at Resthaven Cemetery, 801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Memorial contributions may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
