Jane B. Reed, 86, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Urbandale Health Care Center in Urbandale. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Chapel followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Cemetery at 11 a.m.
Jane was born September 3, 1926 in Clarion, Iowa to Fred and Clara (Jurgenson) Bruhl. She loved to bowl, play golf and attend sporting events of her sons and grandson.
Jane is survived by her two sons, Alan Reed of Urbandale and Gary Reed of Clive; grandson, Austin (Elizabeth) Reed of Dubuque, IA; great-grandsons, Barrett, Brooks, Beau and Briggs Reed and sister, Sharon Thomson of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russ Reed; daughter-in-law, Deborah Reed; parents and step-mother.
