Janis went home to the Lord after a brief battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Joyce White, Sr.; and siblings, Ted White, Jr., Karen Kimber and Candice Arnburg. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, John and Lynda Matheson and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at 620 5th St, WDSM on Sunday, July 10th starting at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, PO Box 1557, Waynesboro VA 22980.
