Dear Christy & Family,

We are so sorry for about Joe's passing.

I will never forget the time when Joe came over to our house to provide a cost for our pool. I immediately recognized him as one of my Valley HS classmates...but he did not recognize me at first. He said, "Hi, I am Joe the Pool Guy" and I am here for our appointment". I said, "You graduated from Valley HS in 1980, didn't you"! He looked at me astonished, as I told him how I remembered him from that era. We quickly became friends, and he and his team built our pool (summer of 2006).

Our best condolences to Christy and family! Joe will be be missed!

Janie, Christy and Family--I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Joe-I knew him well as a Kid, as my daughter grew up with him in childhood. Joe was "one of our Family". Christy, I have never met you, but I have heard many praises from Janie about the wonderful care you gave to Joe, and for that everyone is so grateful. All of you have my deepest sympathy, Love to all, Sheryl Sheeder-Engebretson, Albany, Wisconsin.

Christy and family,

We are so saddened to hear about your loss. I first met Joe 10 years ago when he worked with us on our new pool. I remember him telling me that he had the best job in the world because he was always giving people enjoyment and fun. It was sure easy to see just how much he loved his career. I'll miss seeing him at the store and chatting with him. He was always wearing a smile and was a pleasure to deal with. Such a nice person. Again we're so sorry for your loss.

We are sad to learn of Joe's passing and the loss to Christy and the boys. Condolences, also, to cousin Jane Larson; a parent should not have to lose a child. God is gracious and we pray He will bless your hearts and souls in your sadness. Jerry and Judie Ulin

I'm so sorry to here about Joe's passing. The first time I met Joe was on a job site. We talked about the pool he was working on. Soon the conversation turned to outdoor sports. Fishing, hunting and trapping. We talked for about an hour and I really enjoyed his company. Joe always treated me with respect and I was very comfortable calling on him when it came to work. I'm sure anyone who knew him will miss him very much. I know the family will carry on his good name and I'm sure he would be proud of them.
