Joo Won Kim, 89, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Mountain Top, PA. Private funeral services will be held at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Joo Won was born October 24, 1924 in Poong San, Korea to Hyung and Uk Kim. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Joo Won is survived by his four daughters, Soyun Oh of New Zealand, Kyung Yun Won of Edina, MN, Chae Yun Sheen of Mountain Top, PA and Sun Yun Park of Zionsville, IN; son, Yong C. Kim of Urbandale; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ock Kim.
