Aunt Joyce was always asking me about my life and was always trying to keep a conversation with me. She supported me through so much and when i came out to the family she was so proud of me and she was an amazing aunt i wish i had more time with her but i’m glad she is in a better place now

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Joyce was when a skunk got stuck under our house in Milo and sprayed so the smell was awful. Mom and dad called Aunt Joyce and Aunt Linda and of course they said to come stay with them. We packed a bag and went to stay with them in West Des Moines for a couple of days. It was always so much fun for all of us kids to sleep on the front room floor and watch MTV videos. I loved listening to mom and dad and Aunt Joyce and Aunt Linda stay up late talking and laughing and telling us stories about them growing up together. I love you Aunt Joyce and will miss you so much.

She was a funny, kind lady. I used to love seeing her at Hunter family reunions and bumping into her around town. I will miss her smile.

One of my favorite Memories with Aunt Joyce was spending time with her at her condo. We would watch Wheel Of Fortune and Dancing with the Stars and play monopoly. She’d always accuse me of cheating in monopoly and maybe I did a little bit.😄

The best memories of my childhood was at Aunt Joyce and Aunt Linda's. I was so shy and they really helped me come out of that with all the fun and mayhem during the summers we stayed there. They let me hide away in the living room and binge watch MTV to my hearts content since we didn't get it in Milo. My sister and I would ask the Aunties to record certain shows and they always did for us. When Aunt Joyce and Aunt Donna got together all hell would break loose and even if I didn't understand all that was being said half the time I was always laughing along with everyone else. The moments were never dull and my memories will never be either. Aunt Joyce you will always be missed. Thank you for teaching me to love Gone with the Wind as much as you did :)

There is always that fun Aunt in every family. But we got two, Aunt Joyce and Aunt Linda. If you talked about one it always included the other. My thoughts and prayers to all of the family. Loss is never easy but they can't take away the memories.
