Judy Ann Rodish, 78, passed away and was reunited with her husband, Steve on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Resthaven Mausoleum with burial following at the cemetery.
Judy was born August 26, 1946 in Des Moines to Wallace Sr. and Maxine (Bright) Hawxby. She graduated from North High School in 1966 and went to work for Banker’s Life/Principal where she met life-long friends. Judy met Steve Rodish in 1967 at the roller rink and were engaged on December 9, 1967, and married April 26, 1968. They had a daughter, Tammy and when she was in high school, Steve and Judy adopted David. They spent many years traveling, fishing, spending time with their loved ones, and countless hours in stadium seats supporting their families’ athletic activities. Judy also enjoyed spending time going to garage sales and antique shops with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Tammy (Marlin) Mahr; son, David, three grandchildren, Marshall (Jennifer) Mahr, Marty (Emily) Mahr, and Markayla (Mitchell) Morris; four great-grandchildren, Marcus, Kinsley, Marik, and Kaiden; and one great-grandchild on the way, Nora.
Memorials can be made to the family for a future designation.
