In loving memory, the family of Julie Ann Langley, born on June 5, 1962, shares that Julie passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022.
Julie was born in Omaha Nebraska to parents Edwin Allen Langley and Carolyn Watson Langley.
Julie was very involved in activities at Ankeny Senior High school and also attended college at Buena Vista College and the University of Northern Iowa. Later Julie received a Beautician's license from the Iowa School of Beauty. Julie was also a very proud grandmother to Theo Nearmyer.
Julie is preceded in death by her father Edwin Allen Langley. Julie is survived by her mother Carolyn Watson Langley, her sisters, Lisa Langley Crump (Billy), Sara Nelson and Jennifer Reid (Pat). She is also survived by her husband Ken Thompson and her children Tyler Nearmyer and Kendra Thompson and Ed's wife Char. Julie will be greatly missed by her Mother, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers and, because Julie loved Panda Bears, the family is asking that donations be sent to Pandas International, a non-profit organization based in Littleton Colorado.
