Julie Beth Lessmann, 73, was welcomed into her heavenly home on September 15, 2018. A celebration of her life will be from 11 to 12 Noon, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with entombment at Resthaven Cemetery.

Julie was born April 25, 1945 in Sioux City, IA and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines. She retired from Ziegler Cat in Altoona after 19 years. Julie also worked as a hostess at the Olive Garden in West Des Moines.

She is survived by three daughters, Robin Lessmann, Nicole (Rod) Hughes, and Angie (Paul) Sylling; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Julie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Herb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society of Iowa.
