Julie Marie Villalobos-Glenn, 58, passed away in Des Moines on Friday, December 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with a visitation starting at 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
Julie was born November 9, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to Paul and Betty (Barajas) Villalobos. She was a 1979 graduate of Valley High School in Des Moines. Julie was a loving, kind-hearted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. With her wonderful smile, and bubbly, loving personality all with whom she encountered easily loved her. Julie was known as the “Queen of Crafting”; she loved antiquing and was an avid collector of Tchotchkes.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeff Glenn; son, Justin-David (Rosa) Garfield; daughter, Elysia Glenn; grandchildren; Makayla, Anthony, Gage, Cohan, Harrison, and Francesca (Frankie); honorary grandchildren, Elicia and Aaleyan McMaster; mother, Betty Niccoli; brother, Paul (Marty) Villalobos; sisters, Vicki Villalobos, and Lori McGrath. She was preceded in death by her father; and her mother and father-in-laws, Lorraine and Charles Glenn.
